The Pastry Kids! ARE IN NEED OF YOUR HELP ! Please help Strudel and Danish come home! These little girls were taken in by our rescue group in hopes of finding them a wonderful home. Once in their foster Mom's arms she knew something was not right. After less then 24 hours with her foster family the girls were rushed to the Vet and diagnosed with PARVO. Parvo is a very deadly disease and without treatment can cause a slow horrible death. Our rescue thinks these babies deserve to live and find a home that will love and adore them FOREVER; however treating the PARVO is a very expensive service. Won't you please help us bring our sweet treats home soon? Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! www.firstgiving.com/pastrygirls

Metro Area Animal Adoption Association ("MAAAA") welcomes you to our website! Please feel free to browse around and contact us with any questions you may have either by phone at 313-571-2985 or by e-mail at metroaaaa@aol.com.
We are in URGENT NEED of foster homes!! If you are interested, please look at our Fostering page or for more info please call 313-571-2985 or e-mail us at metroaaaa@aol.com. If you find a dog or cat you'd like to adopt, you can fill out an online application for either a dog or a cat.
MAAAA is a non-profit 501c(3) organization. Our goal is to help find forever homes for homeless animals in the Metropolitan Detroit area. The homeless, abused, neglected and unwanted animals we help end up this way through no fault of their own. Through foster homes and an application process we find families willing to take these animals in forever. Appropriate vaccines and spay/neuter surgery is included in our fee for each and every dog and cat that we place for adoption.
We do not adopt on a first come-first serve basis. Sometimes we receive several applications for a particular animal. In those cases, we try our best to choose the best home for that animal and it does take time to go through the process. We reserve the right to deny any adoption at our discretion. We only take cash or check for the adoption fee.
Foster homes are the only way we are able to help these animals. We do not have a shelter; the more foster homes we have, the more animals we can save from the hopelesss situations they are in. We also educate the public regarding responsible pet ownership; as well as how important it is to spay and neuter animals to control the crisis of pet over population.
Also, we are ALWAYS looking for more volunteers. It may only be an hour a week or month, but please look at our Volunteer page for more information!!
